　　當初看完“怵目驚魂28天”，就很喜歡片尾的這首歌“Mad World”。後來我才開始找這首歌的資料，才知道它本來是由早期的樂團“Tears of Fears”所唱，近期才由美國歌手Gary Jules重新詮釋。
　　
　　我沒有聽過Mad World的原版，Gary Jules重新唱過的我也沒有聽完整（我只有找到試聽版本）。台灣似乎沒有發行他的專輯，真的很可惜。
　　
　　至於我為什麼喜歡這首歌的原因，大概是因為當初“觸目驚魂28天”的灰沉結局，再加上這首充滿陰鬱氣息的Mad World，給我一種難以言喻的失落感，卻又覺得很美，它就是這麼的不起漣漪卻又深深刻在我的心中，難以忘懷的一首歌。
　　　
　　整首歌只有鋼琴的伴奏，聽著Gary Jules唱著這樣帶著迷惘的歌詞，心中不禁跟著浮起迷幻感，然後回想起東尼的種種遭遇。然後又像是自己的靈魂存在一個不認識的人身上，感覺是那麼的不真實，一切似乎是虛幻的美麗。
　　
　　我很喜歡這樣頹廢而美麗的音樂，不須多加矯飾，那種平靜卻又異常的氣氛就這麼的藉由鋼琴的伴奏，以及Gary Jules的歌聲直達我的內心，牽引我的靈魂走向詭譎的頹廢境界。
