Frengers

  　　當初看完“怵目驚魂28天”，就很喜歡片尾的這首歌“Mad World”。後來我才開始找這首歌的資料，才知道它本來是由早期的樂團“Tears of Fears”所唱，近期才由美國歌手Gary Jules重新詮釋。 　　 　　我沒有聽過Mad World的原版，Gary Jules重新唱過的我也沒有聽完整（我只有找到試聽版本）。台灣似乎沒有發行他的專輯，真的很可惜。 　　 　　至於我為什麼喜歡這首歌的原因，大概是因為當初“觸目驚魂28天”的灰沉結局，再加上這首充滿陰鬱氣息的Mad World，給我一種難以言喻的失落感，卻又覺得很美，它就是這麼的不起漣漪卻又深深刻在我的心中，難以忘懷的一首歌。 　　　 　　整首歌只有鋼琴的伴奏，聽著Gary Jules唱著這樣帶著迷惘的歌詞，心中不禁跟著浮起迷幻感，然後回想起東尼的種種遭遇。然後又像是自己的靈魂存在一個不認識的人身上，感覺是那麼的不真實，一切似乎是虛幻的美麗。 　　 　　我很喜歡這樣頹廢而美麗的音樂，不須多加矯飾，那種平靜卻又異常的氣氛就這麼的藉由鋼琴的伴奏，以及Gary Jules的歌聲直達我的內心，牽引我的靈魂走向詭譎的頹廢境界。 歌詞： Mad World -Gary Jules All around me are familiar faces Worn out places worn out faces Bright and early for their daily races Going nowhere going nowhere Their tears are filling up their glasses No expression no expression Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow No tomorrow no tomorrow And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take When people run in circles it’s a very very mad world mad world Children waiting for the day they feel good Happy birthday happy birthday Made to feel the way that every child should Sit and listen sit and listen Went to school and I was very nervous No one knew me no one knew me Hello teacher tell me what’s my lesson Look right through me look right through me And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take When people run in circles it’s a very very Mad world . . . world Enlarge your world Mad world
